SHERIF EL-HARAZI, M.D., M.P.H. is the founder and the Medical Director of the Lugene Eye Institute. Dr. El-Harazi specializes in general ophthalmology, cataract, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. He completed his ophthalmology residency, and comprehensive clinical fellowship at the University of Texas-Houston. He also received a Masters of Public Health from the University of Texas-Houston.

Dr. El-Harazi has extensive research experience. He authored or co-authored nearly 100 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters. He is a Principal Investigator in numerous clinical trials involving the development of new drugs for the treatment of eye diseases. Dr. El-Harazi is currently served as chairman of the ophthalmology division, of which he is also a Preceptor, of Glendale Adventist Medical Center.  Dr. Sherif El-Harazi and his dedicated clinical staff are always available to provide the best quality care for his patients.
