Tinny T. Dinh, M.D., M.S. is a fellow-trained subspecialist in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus Surgery and Retinopathy of Prematurity Screening. He is also clinically interested in the practice of Comprehensive Ophthalmology, rendering ophthalmology services to all age group population, from new born and above.
Dr. Dinh is currently a volunteer attending ophthalmologist at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Medical Center, supervising and training residents in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery.
He completed his pre-medical education with honors, a Cum Laude and recipient of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society award after completing at the same time the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, California. In preparation for his medical school, he completed the Masters in Physiology, then later with the Doctor of Medicine in the same institution at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. He was accepted and completed his internship in transitional medicine at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California. He went back to Chicago where he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
Given the opportunities, Dr. Dinh went through an extensive fellowship training program in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Surgery under the preceptorship of a well-renowned subspecialist in the field at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
